Bringing the Rage to Brixton Street Gym — Rope Rage


From October 2019, we started the Rope Rage sessions at Brixton Street Gym, with immense amounts of progress to finish the year; in 2020 we're not slowing down for anybody!


The progress made by everyone involved so far has been incredible, but we are far from finished with our journey to rope mastery.


All in all, Brixton Street Gym has a great community atmosphere and a host of different fitness classes to try out. You can find details on where to visit the gym at the end of this blog post.


For now, here is the rundown of video from our Rope Rage sessions so far...

 

1.

FIRST THINGS FIRST...

This first clip is from our first Rope Rage jump rope session at Brixton Street Gym, aka BlockWorkout.


We did A LOT of footwork on this occasion, but we also focussed on mastering posture and the effect this has on overall technique.




2.

4 MINUTES OF MAYHEM ...

This second video runs four minutes and contains clips from four (4) different jump rope workouts.


We did A LOT of crossovers, side swings and footwork on this occasion, but we also focussed on mastering posture and the effect this has on overall technique. We're taking it further and further 😏




3.

THE GROUP IS GROWING...

This workout montage covers sessions from December 2019 through January 2020—the progress so far has surpassed my expectations.

We're hitting squat jumps, skipping backwards and a number of crossover variations already.

Oh, and the group just keeps growing and growing.
